BREEAM certificate is the world-leading science-based sustainability standard for Real Estate which offers a standardised sustainable building assessment system.
Sustainable construction and BREEAM certification allows building managers, investors, landlords and tenants to reduce operational spending and improve the environmental characteristics of existing buildings. As of today, over 600,000 buildings have been certified and about 2,300,000 have been registered across 93 countries. BREEAM standard originated in the UK and most of the certified buildings are in Europe.
